Hello everyone, we are excited to be communicating that this year the Head Of The Charles Regatta will take place October 22-24 in Cambridge, MA. Yes! We will have racing on three days – two hours Friday morning and two full days Saturday and Sunday. For more information on the volunteer roles available and other details about the weekend, continue to check out this microsite for updates. We hope you will join us for one or more days as a part of our umpire team!

We are in continuous contact with the HOCR leadership about the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. As we learn additional details about this year’s regatta structure and protocols, we will share how we will be adjusting our process and procedures to ensure the safety of all volunteers, competitors and, to the extent possible, spectators over regatta weekend.

Online registration for volunteers is expected to open on September 1. Please be on the lookout for additional communication from us in mid-August. We will be sharing detailed instructions to access and sign up on the HOCR Regatta Central volunteer site.
